Welcome to Westover Surgery
Due to the emerging situation with coronavirus Westover Surgery has taken the decision to suspend online appointment booking as a safety measure.
If you have any symptoms of cough, cold or fever please do not attend the surgery for any reason unless you have been asked to and telephone us instead.
If you feel you need to be seen by a doctor please call us and we will book a telephone appointment for you in the first instance. If you and the doctor agree you need to be seen they will book you a face to face appointment.
If you are concerned you may be at risk from coronavirus please visit NHS 111 online, in the first instance.
From the 15th of June we will be asking every patient and visitor to Westover Surgery (including children over the age of 5) to wear a face covering. This can be a scarf, bandana or homemade mask. This is to reduce the spread of coronavirus and for the safety of patients and staff. Thankyou in advance
If you are visiting Cornwall and need to see a doctor, please contact your own GP practices. Practices throughout the country are offering telephone and video appointments and can electronically send prescriptions to any local pharmacy here for you to collect.
Please also make use of the NHS 111 online service for advice
Please note coil and implant services have now resumed. For more information please call the surgery or book a telephone appointment with Dr Carter.
If you have been told to stay at home because of coronavirus and you need a note for your employer please use the following online link
With patients' needs at the centre of everything we do, we are located in the heart of Falmouth on Western Terrace, with an additional site at our Woodlane branch a 5 minute walk away in the Falmouth University Campus; ideally placed for students.
Our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
We will now be asking all patients requesting appointments to give a brief reason. This is to help our doctors and nurses to ensure you get the right help quickly. Please help our receptionists by giving a brief reason when you call. Thankyou - The Westover Team
